The AT&T Samsung Galaxy S5 Active is now on sale for $199.99 with a two-year contract or $27.50 per month with AT&T Next 18 or $35.75 per month with AT&T Next 12. The back certainly looks different. I like it better than the original S5. especially that Camo Green.
Its not really a mainstream device as far as I can tell. Its a rugged variant of a flagship phone. Its designed for people who want a high end device that can endure being on a worksite. Doesn’t really scream mainstream to me. But I do agree about it being right for that market.
The AT&T Galaxy S5 Active will have a 5.1-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display, a 2.5GHz quad-core processor, and a 16-megapixel camera inside a water- and dust-proof body with a heart monitor.
